Less than 15 days after the publication of his first novel "An almost exemplary soldier", Denis Brogniart could already adapt his story to a TV movie.

INTERVIEW
"Ah!"
Denis Brogniart's famous cry of surprise is usually reserved for Koh Lanta.
But we can imagine him pushing it when a production company bought the rights to his book to adapt it for television.
On March 3, the presenter of TF1 published
An almost exemplary soldier
, his first novel.
Guest of Anne Roumanoff's program
It
feels
good
, he explains that a TV movie adaptation project is already undergoing advanced thinking.
What is Denis Brogniart's book about?
In this book, Denis Brogniart recounts the difficult and violent journey of Stanislas, a soldier suffering from post-traumatic stress disorder.
His hero struggles to conceal his problems from his hierarchy, for fear of being fired from the military institution around which he has built all his life.

For his book, the presenter was inspired by the real journey of a French soldier he met.
Asked about the possibility of adapting his novel to a telefilm, Denis Brogniart reveals that "we are talking more and more about it with my editor".
It is not, less than 15 days after the publication of the book, that of a project.
But the main elements are there.
"A production company bought the exclusive rights for a few months, and we are working on an adaptation", reveals the presenter.
Finding A Co-Writer
It remains to compose the rest of the film crew, which the Koh Lanta presenter is already thinking about.
"We are already starting to think about who could be a co-writer with me and who could be the director," he explains, before specifying his selection criteria.
"We agreed that the co-writer should be a co-writer. That is our wish anyway."
And this will of the author is not explained only by a desire for parity.
"It's a particular story and we want the sensitivity of a woman in relation to the misdeeds of the violence of Stanislas", justifies Denis Brogniart.
Her anti-hero in full descent into hell is indeed a violent husband.
Next steps to complete Denis Brogniart's project: adapt the novel into a script, and find the cast.
