They were first welcomed with open arms, helped, supported and protected.

Then the company slowly realized that they were getting more and more, and more importantly that they were going to stay.

With the economic crisis amplified by the pandemic, Turkish society today finds it difficult to accept the presence of 3,600,000 Syrians on its soil.

Objects of violent attacks from the political class, sometimes hostages of Ankara's foreign policy, they also sometimes have great difficulty in imagining a future.
