A few days ago, there was a sika deer trapped in a protective net around the farmland near Xianjian Village, Beicuo Town, Pingtan, Fujian. The Pingtan Fire Rescue Detachment quickly dispatched personnel to the rescue after receiving the alarm.
At the scene, the antlers of a sika deer were tightly entangled by the protective net and could not move.
The firefighters tried to approach first, perhaps because they were frightened. The sika deer was a bit irritable and kept kicking the deer's feet to prevent people from moving forward, which made it difficult for the firefighters to carry out rescue operations.
After discussing on the spot, the firefighters approached cautiously, secured the feet of the deer with a safety rope, and then cut off the protective net wrapped around the antlers with scissors.
The sika deer was successfully rescued and released to nature.
