"The association managing the mosque of Pantin has changed its leaders. I ask the prefect" of Seine-Saint-Denis "to get in touch with the new team to consider the reopening of the mosque as soon as possible", Interior Minister Gerald Darmanin writes on Twitter.

Gérald Darmanin on Monday asked for the reopening of the Pantin mosque (Seine-Saint-Denis) after the resignation of its rector M'hammed Henniche that the Minister of the Interior demanded.

"The association managing the mosque of Pantin has changed its leaders. I ask the prefect" of Seine-Saint-Denis "to get in touch with the new team to consider the reopening of the mosque as soon as possible", wrote on Twitter the minister, who had signed a decree five months ago closing this place of worship for six months in the wake of the assassination of Professor Samuel Paty.
