In her first album "Orages", singer Clou, who had been nominated for the 2021 Victoires de la musique, sings "Narcisse".

A title which she explains in the program of Anne Roumanoff "It feels good" that she was inspired by her personal family history and that she describes her own father.

INTERVIEW

Her first album

Orages

, released in September 2020, took her to the Victoires de la Musique 2021 plateau, where she was named in the "female revelation of the year" category.

The singer Clou was Monday the guest of Anne Roumanoff to return to this success.

She stopped in particular on the meaning of her song

Narcisse

.

A title which, far from ancient mythology, speaks of narcissistic perverts.

A subject that she knows well, since the singer specifies having been raised by a person with this psychological profile.

"I see narcissistic perverts and I avoid them"

In this song, Clou sings "Narcissus you are perverse, you kill me, with words you kill me".

"It is never easy to listen to it. It is never easy to sing it either", she specifies at the microphone of Anne Roumanoff, before explaining what inspired her this text.

"It's my dad who was like that, with my mom and my sister and me," says the singer.

"So I know the subject very well."

The singer remains modest and does not say more about this family past that we imagine complicated.

But the singer, rather resilient, explains what she takes positive from this experience of life.

"I see narcissistic perverts and I avoid them. These people are often very nice at first," she warns.

"I stand at a distance."

A distancing may not be sanitary, but quite beneficial.
