Ten years ago, under the gaze of the whole world, Japan began to face one of the worst crises in its history.

Fukushima, prefecture in the east of the country, became synonymous with nuclear disaster.

Today, we are still struggling to take stock.

There are the crude and arid figures: 22,500 people dead or missing, but how many others, survivors, have seen their lives destroyed, forced into exile, or to stay in neighborhoods that no longer have any of this. that they have known?

There is the environment of course, the square kilometers of contaminated forests, of soil scraped over several centimeters to remove the contamination.

There are also debates all around the planet, on civilian nuclear power, its relevance in the face of climate change, the question of its safety, etc.
