On March 12, the Guangdong Provincial Transportation Group announced that the core project of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area was completed.
It is expected that in December this year, the Lingdingyang Bridge will complete the construction of the west anchorage.
The deep-medium channel is a super sea-crossing cluster project that integrates "bridges, islands, tunnels, and underwater intercommunication". The Lingdingyang Bridge has a main span of 1666 meters in the sea and a super long-span suspension bridge, and its anchorage is currently the largest in the world. The anchorage, with an area equivalent to the size of 17 basketball courts, is divided into east and west anchorages.
The core-filling construction of the East Anchor Anchor was completed at the end of last year.
