It is sad to
witness
the
implosion of a party that courageously defended the constitutional Spain of free and equal citizens
where it was most needed: in Catalonia subjected to the nationalist roll.
And that later it extended a much needed regeneration program throughout the national territory.
But the truth is that, if nothing remedies it,
we are witnessing the death throes of Cs
. And if in its decline there are certainly exogenous causes that have to do with the suffocation of the center that occurs in t
odo polarized scenario such as the Spanish one, it is only fair to point out the mistakes made by its leadership with decisions that have led the party to the terminal situation in which it finds itself today.
Mistakes made
Albert rivera
not knowing how to interpret the usefulness wishes of his voters in 2019, and Rivera personally assumed his political responsibility by resigning the day after his electoral collapse.

Inés Arrimadas has made mistakes -and very big- when destabilizing the territorial coalitions agreed with the PP to get closer to Sánchez in exchange for a dubious credential of centrism that sanchismo can never award
, which is the most extreme conglomerate of interests that has governed Spain since 1978. It should be understood that every party resists its disappearance, and that Cs seemed doomed to an inexorable absorption by the PP after the turn to the center staged by
Married
on his break with Vox.
There is materially no political space for three parties to the right of the PSOE, and every new leadership has the right to draw up its strategy and turn the inherited course.
But its leaders also have the right to debate this change of course in the relevant internal organs, something that did not happen when
Carlos Square
, the strongman of Arrimadas, secretly decided
negotiate the motion of censure in Murcia directly with Moncloa
.
And of course the voters have the right to receive a credible explanation of what the leadership ends up doing with their will expressed at the polls.

and other prominent figures of the party by demanding a meeting of the executive to account for the embarrassing sainete lived in Murcia, where
censorship against López Miras will fail
because Genoa closed an agreement in extremis with three wayward deputies from Cs.
Only an immediate purge of responsibilities can now save the orange formation from its disappearance
.
And Arrimadas is in the center of the scene.
It was she who, betraying her word, authorized a pandemic censorship with the pilgrim alibi of a corruption yet to be detailed;
the one that activated the suspicion of
Ayuso
in respect of
Watery
and it led her to dismiss all the councilors of Cs and call elections;
and the one that has finally seen that the risky maneuver in Murcia failed.
A very expensive botch for the territorial stability of Spain at the worst moment and with the result of self-inflicted damage.
There is no leadership that comes out unscathed. CS does not deserve this ending.
There is a lot of constitutional courage and not a little talent behind its acronym
.
Perhaps there is still time to rescue its best assets to build a great liberal alternative to sanchismo.
