A response to accusations of racism brought by his brother Harry and his wife Meghan!

"We are not a racist family at all," Prince William, second in line to the throne, said during a visit to a school in east London.

The Duke of Cambridge has clarified that he has not spoken to his brother since the explosive interview aired on Sunday, but that he intends to.

Asked by star Oprah Winfrey on Sunday, Harry and Meghan reported conversations from an unnamed member of the royal family about the skin color their son Archie, now 22 months old, would have before his birth.

A lively debate in the UK

Oprah Winfrey assured this Monday that neither the Queen nor Prince Philip were involved.

The accusations followed speculation about who made the statements and reignited a heated debate in the UK, fueled by the Black Lives Matter protests last year.

Prince William is the first member of the family to speak publicly on the subject.

Asked about the interview during a visit to a vaccination center on Tuesday, Prince Charles preferred to remain silent, responding with a nervous little laugh.

Queen Elizabeth II responded via a statement from Buckingham Palace.
