[Live Sound] The Blind Children's Choir of Beijing School for the Blind sings the song "The Best Future"

Every dream is worth irrigating. Tears can fall into rain. Every child should be pampered. They are our future.

[Explanation] Take the song as the rod and meet the light.

On the evening of March 10, the "Dream·Chasing Light" charity concert jointly initiated by Ali Health Charity and ophthalmologist Tao Yong’s "Light·Blind Project" was held in Beijing. Many guests participated in the performance online and offline. Dr. Yong presided over the event and jointly spoke for the blind.

[Commentary] At the scene, children from the Beijing School for the Blind sang a number of songs. The singing voice was tactful and moving.

On the stage, 12-year-old Zhou Guanzheng sang very emotionally and intently.

Six years ago, he developed a keen interest in singing and liked the feeling of standing on stage.

(Favourite) "The Best Future", because my mother taught me this song before, and then my classmates knew that I would know this song, so they all started to learn it.

(The melody) is more beautiful, I like this song, I will sing some of the feelings I like this song.

[Concurrent period] Zhou Guanqin's father Zhou Kai

He is more confident and talkative than before. This is the biggest change and his life is fulfilling.

I think he likes to grow up happily. As a father, I definitely want him to do something he likes.

[Explanation] According to Sheng Yuan, a professor of the piano department of the Central Conservatory of Music, music can have a more profound impact on the blind.

In the past 5 years, he has been committed to piano education for the blind.

Let the piano, which seems far away from the blind group, walk in and change their lives.

[Concurrent] Sheng Yuan, Professor of Piano Department of Central Conservatory of Music

I think this group, especially after losing sight, his hearing will become particularly sensitive, and his music sensitivity will become very strong.

I just figured out a way, if let him learn to improvise, then he can break away from the score.

Blind people can regard music as a very important hobby in their lives, and some blind people have certain talents and can even use music for employment.

Using music as a rod, this rod is not only a rod to soothe their souls, but also a blind rod that can help them walk independently in the future.

[Explanation] At the event site, in addition to music performances, there are also blind teachers and students showing life skills such as makeup and pouring water.

He Yajun, who ran more than 70 marathons in more than 6 years, and Feng Tianzhou, who was admitted to Harbin Institute of Technology while listening and studying, also shared their stories, showing the wonderful life of the blind group.

[Concurrent] Tao Yong, chief physician of the Department of Ophthalmology, Beijing Chaoyang Hospital, co-sponsor of the "Dream · Chasing the Light" public welfare concert

Their world is very simple, and their happiness comes very simple.

Let their equal souls be shown on the stage, and they can get the opportunity to create their own social value just like normal people.

So this is one of my original intentions.

We share our concerts with you. On the one hand, we hope that everyone will pay attention to the blind people and see their excitement. In fact, on the other hand, many normal people can also see the strong and optimistic in the blind people, so they can find someone like me. Strength to help ourselves.

[Explanation] Tao Yong called on people to break the stereotype of the blind group and form a joint force in the whole society to help the blind.

In fact, the general public in society may generally have such a stereotype, but I feel that in fact, blind people have many abilities no less than normal people.

So in fact, besides the blind massage, they can enjoy more other jobs (opportunities).

Starting from calling on us, the next step is to integrate training, and then to help them find employment.

The concert for the blind is just the beginning.

We hope that the whole society, including enterprises, volunteers, and friends from all walks of life in society who have the ability and time to help the blind and form a joint force.
