French Foreign Minister Jean-Yves Le Drian is in contact with Covid-19, his entourage announced on Thursday.
He had to cancel his next face-to-face meetings.
"It is family contact and goes into septaine", the same source said.
The head of French diplomacy in particular canceled an interview he was to give on Friday on public radio France Info.
Several diplomatic meetings
Jean-Yves Le Drian met Thursday three of his counterparts, the German Heiko Maas, the Egyptian Sameh Choukri and the Jordanian Ayman Safadi, to take stock of the Middle East peace process.
He also received the US climate envoy John Kerry on Wednesday.
