According to our colleagues from "Parisien", C8 should broadcast on April 8 a special program to celebrate the 20 years of "Loft Story", the first French reality show, launched by M6 in 2001. It is Benjamin Castaldi, presenter of " Loft "at the time, which will host this evening, in the presence of former candidates of the show.
Its launch had shaken French television and society.
In 2001, M6 brought together 13 candidates in a house lined with cameras, with the aim of staying there for 10 weeks and finding love there.
Loft Story
was born.
The first French reality TV show is therefore celebrating its 20th anniversary.
According to
Le Parisien
, it is the C8 channel which will celebrate this anniversary on April 8, with a special program which will be presented by host Benjamin Castaldi.
It was he who had presented the two seasons of
Loft Story
, an animator that the candidates took pleasure in throwing in the swimming pool of the house during the live broadcasts.

Former invited candidates
Candidates, some of whom will be present during this anniversary prime-time, broadcast live by C8.
The show's cast has not yet been revealed, but viewers could find notably the couple Julie and Christophe Mercy, Steevy Boulay, and Loana Petrucciani.
The former emblematic candidate of the show had told Europe 1 that her life had known "a before and after"
Loft Story.
The former candidates Philippe and Laure should however not be present on the set of C8.
They both decided to distance themselves from the reality show which is celebrating its 20th anniversary.
