Actor Ha Jung-woo returns as a painter.

Pyo Gallery will be holding Ha Jung Woo's solo exhibition'At Home' from the 23rd.

Ha Jung-woo, who debuted in 2005 with the movie'The Unforgiven', has appeared in over 30 films during his 16 years of debut, establishing himself as the best actor in Korea.

Through works such as'The Pursuit','The Yellow Sea','Love Fiction', and'Tunnel', he built his own acting color that is not like anyone else, and three episodes ('Assassination','With God: Sin and Punishment ','Together with God: In and Yeon'), through the ten million films, he also got the modifier of'believing and watching' (an actor who believes and sees).

Jungwoo Ha has expressed his artistic inspiration through painting and writing as well as acting.

In particular, painting is another language in which he reveals himself.

In the beginning, he showed a style that seemed to be influenced by Jean Michel Basquiat and Jean Dubuffet, but he soon established his own personality and color by adding time and experience.

In 2010, he held 9 solo exhibitions, starting with'Mask','Pierrot','Trace', and'VACATION'.

This exhibition raises expectations in that it is the 10th solo exhibition and 10 years in front of the public under the name of a painter.

It is known that they prepared this exhibition with pictures drawn in the gaps in the filming schedule leading to the movies'Boston 1947' and'Night Travel'.

In the new work released in advance by Pyo Gallery, you can get a glimpse of his interest and inner self.

His distinctive resurgence stands out in his paintings that seem to be inspired by Quentin Tarantino's debut film'The Dogs in the Reservoir' and the paintings of Austrian expressionist painter Egon Schiele in his own image.

Ha Jung-woo's solo exhibition'At Home' can be seen from the 23rd to May 1st at the Pyo Gallery located in Chebu-dong, Jongno-gu, Seoul.
