Umut Özdemir,

couple and sex therapist

When I was at the Charité last year, I worked on a study. There we asked couples and singles about their lives during the lockdown. A total of over 2,500 people took part. Of these, around 1,500 were in a partnership. It turns out that sexual behavior has decreased. But the partnership satisfaction has remained high. That’s good news. Our interview back then was in April, about four weeks after the initial lockdown. The latest publications that are currently available also refer to a longer period of time. In some cases, the numbers are different.
