According to Chiba Prefecture, infection with the mutant virus was confirmed in a man in his 50s living in the prefecture, who visited a medical institution in late February due to symptoms such as coughing and was infected with the new coronavirus. Is confirmed.



After that, a private company that conducted the test was commissioned by the government to investigate in detail, and it was found that the man was infected with a mutated virus that is spreading overseas.

The fact that the man has no history of traveling abroad and the route of infection is unknown so far means that he is currently admitted to the hospital.
