The famous Netflix streaming platform is currently working on the creation of a documentary dedicated to the Outreau affair.

According to the daily "La Voix du Nord", the mayor of the town of Outreau, in Pas-de-Calais, was approached by a production company which gave him "the outline" of the project.

After

Grégory

, Netflix's first "true crime" in French, the famous streaming platform is interested in another emblematic case: Outreau.

The mayor of this commune of Pas-de-Calais, Sebastien Chochois, has also confirmed to our colleagues from "La Voix du Nord", having received a production team on February 10.

"The main lines of the project" were presented to him during this meeting, he explained.

The same production company as "Grégory"

Also according to daily information, the production of this documentary was entrusted to Imagissime, the company that was already behind ... the mini-series

Grégory,

broadcast in 2019 on Netflix.

From there to saying that the documentary on the Outreau affair will take the same form as

Gréogory

(5 episodes of about an hour)?

Hard to say at this point.

Nevertheless, "La Voix du Nord" quotes a source which confides that the production wants to take its time, but that it has "already worked well on its subject".

For its part, Netflix does not wish to confirm or deny this project, and many questions therefore remain unresolved for the time being.
