Now she changes employers and becomes head of Swedish Radio P2.
The music channel is focused on classical, jazz, art music and folk music from around the world.
It also hosts broadcasts in minority languages.

P2 is SR's smallest channel in terms of listener figures, with about two percent of the total listening.
- I am not entirely sure that the listener numbers are the most prioritized goal. Of course, it is very important to keep in touch with the loyal audience P2 has. It is also important to create new contact with new listeners throughout Sweden. But first and foremost, we will make fantastic programs, both avant-garde and broad and educational, says Ella Petersson to Kulturnytt.
