The Vivi has apologized for some old racist and homophobic tweets.

The Vivi explains.
The rapper returned to his exclusion from
The Voice
following the exhumation of homophobic and racist tweets written on social media when he was 17.
In a song published last Friday on YouTube, first, on the plateau of

Faced with the outcry caused by these tweets, The Vivi, whose real name is Vincent Pois, came out of his silence in song: “Now, TV, the media, I know them, they speak on my name, without messing around.
I know what I'm worth, who I am, what I said and I apologize to death if you knew.
It breaks my principles and my values for popping floods on Twitter.
Times change, people change, the humor that you may have read no longer makes me laugh, ”he recalls on the title

His text further explains: “I know who I am, what I am worth, what I said and I apologize to death.
Stop your polemics, I know that it makes clicks… I'm tired of justifying myself for things that I regret and that I did not delete quickly.
Making mistakes is also growing ”.
At the end of this video clip posted on YouTube which has already totaled more than 257,000 views, he symbolically buries the little bird, the logo of Twitter.
On February 20, the young rapper The Vivi caused a sensation on the set of
The Voice
on TF1 with his cover of
Suicide Social
d'Orelsan.
The next day, he was at the heart of the controversy because of his tweets.
“The Vivi immediately offered a heartfelt apology on their Instagram account.
But these messages remain incompatible with our values and with its participation in the program which ends today ”, announced a few hours later the production company ITV Studios.
"I had Vianney on the phone"
On the set of Cyril Hanouna, The Vivi once again apologized for his tweets which offended many Internet users.
The Vivi then went back to when he learned that those tweets had resurfaced.
“I had Vianney on the phone… I don't know if I can… But he gave me strength and he understood that it was humor.
I can't speak for him so as not to screw him up, ”he explained.
Cyril Hanouna then spoke again: “Vianney is someone who has a huge heart, he does not endorse the tweets of The Vivi, he told me.
He is a guy who is for forgiveness, he would have said the same for Mennel, ”referring to Mennel Ibtissem, dismissed from season 7 of TF1's tele-hook because of controversial tweets in which she commented on the attacks in Nice and from Saint-Etienne-du-Rouvray.
