Some expressions make our ears hurt.

Tense, stupid, overheard ... Certain very trendy expressions in 2021 are increasing the pressure.

Whether spoken in the office, with family, on social networks or between friends.

And the degree of intolerance towards certain words varies according to the sensitivities.

There is of course all the vocabulary relating to the health crisis: "face-to-face", "in distance", "social distancing", "cluster", "not very Covid" ... But also the abbreviations that are abused in SMS " JPP "," in PLS "," askip "... And the adolescent language which is now used by everyone:" genius "," uneasy "," cheh "," de phew "," the seum "," poucave " ... Or the language tics that punctuate all the sentences of some: "I admit", "basic", "too much" ... Not to mention the annoying anglicisms: "bugger", "ghoster", "spoiler", "performer" , "Bankable" ...

Tell us which expression bothers you the most (without necessarily citing one of the one mentioned in this call for witnesses!).

Is it because it is used too much, because you find it meaningless or because you do not understand it?

Or because it is spoken by people to whom it does not correspond?

How do you react when you hear it?

Do you take the person back, even if it means sounding totally out of date?

If you have children, do you encourage them to get rid of those language tics?
