To fight against menstrual precariousness, the Occitania region announces this Monday that it will distribute hygienic protections to high school scholarship holders in all establishments in the territory from May.
These will be hygienic protections "organic and respectful of health standards", indicates the community.
"The health crisis and the last lockdowns have been factors of new inequalities for women, deplores the president of the region, Carole Delga (PS).

The region indicates that 30,000 high school girls, educated in all public and private establishments in Occitania, will be affected by this device.
"An envelope of more than 100,000 euros will be allocated to this operation," notes the community.
This promise comes as the Minister of Higher Education, Frédérique Vidal, announced in February that periodic protections would be free at the start of the next school year for students.
But the high school girls were not concerned.
