With the title "Le train du soir", Raphaël welcomes on his new album "Haute Fidélité" the singer Apple, the time of a duet.
The singer specifies Monday in the program "Culture Médias" the contours of their artistic meeting, and also returns on another duet of his last album, recorded with Clara Luciani.
INTERVIEW
In music, social networks aren't just for doing live mini-concerts.
They also create encounters.
It is thanks to them that
the evening train
was born
, the duo of Apple and Raphaël which appears on the singer's last album,
Haute Fidélité
.
Guest of the
Culture Médias
show
, Raphaël explains how this song was born, on which Pomme was only supposed to do the backing vocals.
Raphaël and Pomme had never worked together until then.

The two artists met recently, after Apple spoke on networks about one of Raphael's songs that she liked very much.
"I had been very flattered" remembers Raphael.
"I contacted her to have coffee together. Then she invited me to her concerts."
Pomme and Raphaël meet again on several occasions.

"When we sing next to her, it gives shivers"
So much so that Raphaël ended up offering Apple to sing on
Le train du soir
, a song he wrote in the summer of 2019 and that he plans to put on his album then in preparation.
“At the beginning, it was perhaps just to do choirs,” Raphaël specifies.
But the singer does not resist the voice of Apple for long, and finally offers him that this title become a duet.
"It was so beautiful. When you sing next to her, it gives shivers," confirms the singer.
"Apple is a great singer and her voice made this song become this song."
The evening train
is not the only duo featured on
Haute Fidélité
.
Clara Luciani also poses her voice on this album, with the title
Si tu pars, ne dis rien
.
A song that she co-wrote and co-composed with Raphaël.
It must be said that, unlike Apple, Raphaël knew Clara Luciani well.
"She was in my group, she was a guitarist and pianist for me in 2015-2016", reveals the singer.
"We did 60 concerts together. It creates a bond to be on stage 60 times together."
It was at his home, on the occasion of a "pizza-cigar" evening, that Clara Luciani recorded
Si tu pars ne dis rien.
