Our reporter Liu Meng, Zhao Qiuli, Yan Weiqi

The "14th Five-Year Plan" and the draft of the 2035 long-term goal outline are proposed to promote the building of a socialist cultural power.

To better meet the spiritual and cultural needs of the people is also a solemn commitment given in this year's government work report.

In the process of building a cultural power, people have discovered that traditional culture is bringing more and more surprises to people.

Online, recent Henan Spring Festival Gala "Tang Palace Night Banquet" and other programs have become popular all over the Internet, and various national style and national tide video barrage screens have been screened at Station B; offline, museums across the country are vying to launch explosive cultural and creative products, rural " The development of "intangible heritage + industry" is also booming.

What do deputies and committee members think of the traditional culture that frequently "goes out of the circle"?

1. Return to popular life

Moderator: Is the traditional cultural phenomenon of "Internet celebrities" really "out of the circle"?

Pan Lusheng:

Culture is essentially a way of life, which "lives" in people's lives very vividly.

From the perspective of "circle", there may be a certain distance between the public's perception of traditional culture in the past.

However, in recent years, especially since the 18th National Congress of the Communist Party of China, as the country’s soft power continues to increase, the vitality and attractiveness of our traditional culture has gradually become prominent, reflecting the people’s deep recognition of the excellent Chinese traditional culture.

In addition, there are many works that integrate modern technology such as 5G and VR with traditional cultural themes, which are both traditional and fashionable, and also show that traditional culture and modern technology coincide.

Liao Changyong: The

so-called "out-of-circle" fever does not appear to me to be "out-of-the-circle."

Culture should be integrated, such as music and literature, architecture, and aesthetic education.

Some of the projects we have done over the years are cross-field integration.

Facts have proved that it can get more recognition and love from everyone.

Yang Chaoming:

The concept of "out of the circle" brings about a thought-some people may think that traditional culture originally has a "circle", which is a matter of individual researchers or advocates.

But I think that the so-called traditional culture must be consistent from ancient times to the present, and it must have its inherent vitality.

Now everyone feels "out of the circle". In fact, traditional culture has a phenomenon that it should have. It has begun to return to society, return to the public, and come among us.

Compared with "out of the circle", I think it is a kind of "regression."

2. Dye the background color of life

Moderator: Why is the traditional culture that has been passed down for thousands of years so attractive to today's young people?

Pan Lusheng:

Modern technological civilization and traditional culture are inherently related-fashion is rooted in tradition, and tradition will continue to innovate along with social development and changes.

Nowadays, the luxury goods pursued by some young people have gradually changed from materialization to spiritualization, including the demand for high-quality cultural products.

With this kind of change, I think the condensed beauty of intelligence, beauty of design, and beauty of creativity are the ultimate elements that attract us.

Liao Changyong:

The charm of traditional culture lies in cultural identity, that is, identity.

The ancients said that “being in a real situation and knowing etiquette”, when the material foundation reaches a certain level, the spiritual needs will become more prominent.

During the 5000 years of development, Chinese culture has been constantly learning, merging, and improving. This is its uninterrupted original driving force.

We say that "writing and writing should be with the times." How can culture resonate with the times on the basis of maintaining independence? This is what our generation of literary and art workers must think about and explore.

Yang Chaoming:

I think this is directly related to cultural self-confidence.

Our culture is not only a long history, but also continuous. The deep reason lies in the essential attributes of traditional culture. At the same time, it also embodies the background of our lives.

Just like Confucius’ disciple Yan Hui praised Confucius for “suppressing the height while drilling the firm”, when we truly walk into traditional culture, we will also find its charm and its great side.

3. "Salvage" cultural treasures

Moderator: How to "salvage" those traditional cultural treasures that have not been noticed?

Pan Lusheng: It

is "salvage", and it is also to make excellent traditional culture serve contemporary life.

First of all, we must respect the cultural subject status of the people.

Artists and artists must go deep among the people and take the initiative to understand their history, culture, and way of life, so that the cultural products they create are convincing.

Secondly, it is necessary to use high-tech methods, especially video recording, to bring traditional culture to life again. This is what the Chinese Folk Artists Association has been working hard to do.

Liao Changyong: The

Shanghai Conservatory of Music has done a lot of exploration since last year, including re-arranging classic works, creating new works, and asking teachers and students to take advantage of the summer and winter vacations.

Only when the creator knows what the common people think, what they love and hate, the work will have vitality.

From the school's point of view, our creation must also be integrated with discipline construction, talent training, artistic practice, social service and subject research.

Only in this way can the trained students think about their own majors, have awe of the audience, and have feelings for traditional culture.

Yang Chaoming:

Nowadays, some people lack confidence in culture, precisely because they still lack understanding of traditional culture. Only cultural self-knowledge can be culturally confident.

From a scholar's point of view, we need to rectify the roots and explain the misunderstood issues more clearly. Only by making them clear can we rationally discard, critically inherit, and promote the establishment of stronger cultural self-confidence.

4. Go to a culturally powerful country together

Moderator: What is the cultural power in your mind?

How can traditional culture help build a cultural power?

Pan Lusheng:

To build a cultural power, we must first do a good job in the discovery, survey, and research of Chinese excellent traditional culture, carry forward the spirit of craftsmanship, develop cultural industries on this basis, and turn the precious heritage left by our ancestors into contemporary wealth.

Of course, it is necessary to strengthen the construction of the rural public cultural service system to improve the quality of people's spiritual life.

Finally, it is necessary to strengthen the discipline construction of philosophy and social sciences and the cultivation of talents to provide intellectual support for the construction of a culturally powerful country.

Liao Changyong:

The cultural power in my mind has a large number of excellent works that reflect the spiritual and cultural characteristics of the Chinese people and reflect the unique traditional culture of China.

First of all, they should be diversified and diversified, not only suitable for young people, but also suitable for the elderly.

Secondly, they must also be full of distinct characteristics of the times, and can vividly reflect the current spiritual outlook of people.

Yang Chaoming:

A promising nation must be a nation with a cultural foothold, and thousands of years of traditional Chinese culture has nourished our nation.

In my opinion, building a culturally powerful country requires building excellent cultural resources into a monument of civilization, nourishing the feelings of the family and the country with rich family education culture, and fostering the character of a gentleman with a profound gentleman culture.
