Toulouse will play extra time in the match against the spread of Covid-19 by further limiting the probabilities of static gatherings.

While certain sectors of the city, in particular the banks of the Garonne, have already been banned from walking since February 28, the prefect Etienne Guyot and the mayor Jean-Luc Moudenc announce this Sunday their decision to apply these restrictions for a additional week, ie until Sunday March 14 inclusive.

A week after the first measures, "the incidence rate fell slightly but remains very high (246 positive cases per 100,000 inhabitants), just below the maximum alert threshold", explain the authorities.

Evolving list

Here are the sectors that will therefore remain closed, and whose list may still change depending on the health situation: the banks of the Garonne located below Place Saint-Pierre, Quai Saint-Pierre, Quai Lucien-Lombard, the quai de la Daurade, the quai de Tounis and corresponding to the promenade Henri Martin;

the Place de la Daurade;

the meadow of the Filters and the quay of the Spanish Republican Exile.

The amount of the fine if one walks there does not move: the usual 135 euros.
