As the impact of the new coronavirus on the lives of citizens continues, in Sakai City, Fukui Prefecture, children played a central role in creating a large panel of photos of more than 400 smiles in order to bring smiles to the community. The unveiling ceremony was held on the 7th.

The unveiling ceremony was held at the community center in the Ozeki district of Sakai City, and was attended by about 50 people, including children involved in the production.

Then, when the representative pulled the string and the unveiling was carried out, a large panel named "Smile Panel" with a length of 2 meters and a width of 5 meters appeared.

This work was created mainly by local children in order to bring smiles to the community, and photographs of the smiles of 420 residents are arranged in the shape of a heart.

The people who gathered were looking for themselves and friends and taking pictures.

A 6-year-old girl said, "I thought the panel was amazing. I want my dad and mom to see it."

The "Smile Panel" will be exhibited at the Ozeki Community Center in Sakai City for the next year.
