Andre Ruzhnikov, the London dealer, describes the exhibition “Fabergé, court jeweler” currently running in the Hermitage as the “encyclopedia of forgeries” in a letter to the director Michail Piotrowski. At least twenty exhibits are fake. The alleged falsifications are loans from two private museums.
