  According to monitoring by the Guangdong Meteorological Bureau, moderate to heavy local rains occurred in northern Guangdong cities and counties, Zhaoqing, and northern Guangzhou from 12:00 on the 5th to 12:00 on the 6th.

Among them, 14 towns and streets in the province recorded heavy rains of more than 50 mm, and 131 towns and streets recorded heavy rains of 25 mm to 50 mm. The Guangzhou Meteorological Disaster Emergency Headquarters has decided to start the Level III emergency response of Guangzhou's meteorological disasters (thunderstorms and gales) from 11:55 on the 6th to remind the city's low-lying areas to pay attention to water accumulation.

  At the same time, due to the continued influence of warm and humid air currents, the dew point temperature in parts of the Pearl River Delta, northern Guangdong, and western Guangdong is higher than that of the ground.

  The Guangdong Meteorological Bureau predicts that from the 7th to the 9th, most cities and counties in the province will be overcast and cloudy, with (scattered) light rain in the western cities and counties; in addition, the province’s sea surface wind will increase to level 6 from the early morning of the 7th. With gusts of magnitude 7, the province’s daily average temperature will drop by 2°C to 4°C.
