“From 6 to 9 March, spontaneous melting of snow masses is possible in the mountain areas of the city of Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky, Elizovsky, Ust-Bolsheretsky, Sobolevsky, Bystrinsky (especially the Paratunka river basin), Milkovsky and Ust-Kamchatsky districts, as well as from Vilyuchinsky, Kozelsky, Koryaksky and Avachinsky volcanoes, ”the ministry said.
In addition, an avalanche danger was declared on the territory of the Kronotsky reserve.
Earlier it was reported that rescuers completed the search for people under an avalanche that descended from a school in Elizovo in Kamchatka.
One person died and two were rescued by an avalanche.
