The report's survey of women over the age of 20 in first-tier and new first-tier cities shows that compared with previous years, women’s willingness to buy a home is increasing year by year.

82% of the women surveyed plan to build a business in 5 years, of which 14% plan to buy a house this year, and nearly 40% plan to buy a house within two years.

As for the money to buy a house, the report pointed out that, unlike the previous “parents pay down payment, children repay the loan”, which is a common pattern for young people to buy a house, now nearly 20% of the women surveyed are planning to buy a house on their own, and half of the women surveyed said they need to buy a house. When buying a house together with the other half, about 30% of the women said they need a part of the funds from their parents.

In addition, judging from historical data, more and more women say that they can play a decisive role in the process of buying a house.

The report shows that in the process of buying a house, 82.3% of the women surveyed said that they have a decisive role.

In 2018, only 65.2% of women said they were decision makers in purchasing a house.

Regarding the issue of the signature of the property certificate, 30.2% of the women interviewed said that the real estate certificate must have their own names, and 57.9% of the women interviewed said that they must have the names of both parties.

At the same time, the report pointed out that when women buy a house, they also begin to show their own "house buying philosophy."

Their pursuit of the house is no longer just to satisfy the simple living function, but to pursue the improvement of quality and living.

For example, when choosing houses, the proportion of women who choose the type of house and the quality of the house ranks in the top two, and the proportion of choosing price, environmental location, transportation, and developer's brand is also more than 40%.

For the interior space of the house, the master bedroom and living room are more concerned by female buyers, accounting for more than 70%; women who choose the bathroom and kitchen also account for more than 50%.

In addition, the report said that with the changes of the times, post-90s women began to show a more tolerant mentality, living with their parents-in-law has become a new form of living.

Nearly 60% of the post-90s women interviewed do not mind living with in-laws after marriage.
