This is the first time that infection with a mutant virus has been confirmed in Ishikawa Prefecture other than the quarantine test.

two men in their 50s and a woman in their 40s in Gifu prefecture.



A mutant virus found in Brazil


was infected by a girl under the age of 10 in Saitama Prefecture.



All have no history of staying abroad and are believed to have been infected domestically.



As a result, the number of people confirmed to be infected with the mutant virus in Japan is 194 in total in 20 prefectures, excluding airport quarantine.
