They entered the Melodifestivalen as an already established rock band.

With several albums behind them, they already had a loyal fan base behind them.

"The coolest thing they've ever heard"

But since they went on to the Second Chance in the Melodifestivalen's first competition, they have now gained completely new fans.

And maybe not in the circles they had expected.

- There are many children who send in videos and think it is the coolest thing they have heard, says bassist Andreas Bladini.

- My son thinks it's the best song he knows.

That's all he listens to.

It's so big for me that I can feel that I can put it down, now I'm done, says drummer Ian-Paolo Lira.

Bets on Tiktok

The guys have taken their new fans to heart.

Since the Melodifestivalen started, they have now even become active in the children's own social media app Tiktok.

- We are still learning how it works.

We started with 10 humble followers and now we are up in 2000 I think, says Ian-Paolo Lira.

Their Melodifestival contribution "Pretender" has also become a song that tiktok users can dance to in the app.

How will your gigs be in the future if the children are to be pushed more by your old fans?

- Pig fun, there will be several gigs simply.

You make matinee gigs and real gigs.

And as long as you can start playing again, the kids are welcome to come and come with us until we get so old that we can no longer play, says singer Martin Westerstrand.

In the Second Chance on Saturday night, Little Sister will face Alvaro Estrella in tonight's first duel.

The winner advances to the final.

- We hope that we have the support of the people and that there are enough hard rockers and hard rock skids out there, says Martin Westerstrand.
