Based on the assessment of the risk of the epidemic in each province, Turkey divided the country's 81 provinces into four categories: blue low-risk, yellow medium-risk, orange high-risk, and red extremely high-risk.

According to the national epidemic risk level map released by the Turkish Ministry of Health, the Turkish capital Ankara belongs to the yellow medium-risk area, and the largest city Istanbul and the third largest city Izmir belong to the orange high-risk area.

The blue low-risk provinces are mainly concentrated in the southeast.

Worldometers real-time statistics show that as of 12:06 on March 4th, the number of confirmed cases of the new coronavirus in Turkey reached 2.74 million, with an increase of 11,322 to 2,746,158; an increase of 68 to 28,839 deaths.
