One hundred and eighteen vaccination centers mobilized in Ile-de-France for "an exceptional operation" carried out this weekend.

The director general of the Regional Health Agency, the prefect of police and the prefect of the region have just announced this operation for this Saturday and Sunday, via a press release.

A response to the desire to strongly accelerate the vaccination campaign announced by Prime Minister Jean Castex on Thursday.

"Thanks to an exceptional allocation of 51,000 doses of Pfizer vaccines, the mobilization of 105 outpatient vaccination centers, and the exceptional opening of 13 new dedicated centers, new vaccinations will be able to be organized throughout the weekend in all the departments in the region, says the press release.

These vaccinations will concern all audiences eligible for the Pfizer vaccine, that is to say all people over 75 years of age, or all people at very high risk of severe form of Covid-19.
