Czech Republic
report a record number of Covid-19 patients.

recorded
15,698 new
corona infections within 24 - the highest level since the end of November.
These are almost twice as many new cases as the day before, said Vice Health Minister Waldemar Kraska on Wednesday the public broadcaster Polskie Radio.
In the same period,

"Today's values show that the third wave is not only a fact, but is also picking up speed," said Kraska.
Poland has around 38 million inhabitants.
Germany has classified the neighboring country as a risk area.

There are currently more than 15,000, said the politician.
