British employee steals millions from her company because of "horses"

A British employee stole more than 1,700,000 pounds from the company she works for, to finance her horse-buying habit.

Employee Lisa Crouchow, 45, said that her interest in equestrian exceeds drug addiction, explaining that she enjoys the presence of many expensive horses around.

The employee admitted in court that she had "destroyed" her boss's company by stealing cash over five years.

The company discovered the theft when it started receiving debt collection letters.
