Thanks to the very strict "zero cases of Covid-19" strategy, cinemas are open in Australia and festivals can take place.
Tuesday evening March 2, opened the 32nd edition of the French Film Festival in Sydney.
No less than ten French films are shown there in world premieres, their release in France having been postponed due to the closure of cinemas.

Movie theaters in Australia have reopened to the public for months.

and we think a lot about our relatives in France who are not so lucky, unfortunately

Since they could not be shown to the public in France, the release of many films has been postponed.
And paradoxically, it is therefore in Australia that a dozen French films will be shown in world premieres.

The French film festival in Australia is also the most popular in the world: this year, more than 200,000 spectators are expected.
