NHK's serial TV novel, which will be broadcast from next spring, which is the 50th anniversary of Okinawa's return to the mainland, has been decided to be "Chimudondon", which features a woman who has moved to Tokyo from Okinawa and is walking the path of a chef.

The heroine will be played by Yuina Kuroshima, an actor from Okinawa.

The 106th serial TV novel "Chimudondon" is a heroine who was born and raised in Okinawa as the second daughter of four children, and in the year of returning to the mainland, moved to Tokyo with the aim of becoming a chef, and is growing with support from each other. It's a story about opening an Okinawan restaurant.



An original work written by Daisuke Habara, Okinawan actor Yuina Kuroshima (23) will play the heroine.



Mr. Kuroshima made his movie debut in 2013 and has been active in movies and dramas, such as playing the heroine in the movie "Talking the Pictures" that was released in 2013 and receiving the Japan Academy Award for Newcomer Actor.
