One third of the elderly in my country suffer from presbycusis

  Data shows that the total number of hearing loss patients in my country exceeds 200 million.

Among the elderly over 65, one in three suffers from presbycusis.

  According to clinical studies, for every 10 decibels of hearing loss, cognitive ability may "premature aging" for 4 years.

The probability of dementia in patients with severe hearing loss is 5 times that of the elderly with normal hearing.

Hearing impairment can cause communication problems, affect daily life, and cause emotional depression.

90% of patients are caused by cerebrovascular diseases. In addition to hearing loss, 90% of them may have tinnitus; 50% People may be stuffy; and 30% of people may have dizziness or dizziness. Therefore, we hope that patients will seek medical treatment in time when encountering the above-mentioned conditions.

In daily life, we must pay attention to protecting hearing from the following aspects↓↓↓

  Don't pick your ears often;

  Quit smoking and alcohol, smoking and alcohol will cause insufficient blood supply to the ear;

  To induce hearing loss, use ototoxic drugs with caution, such as streptomycin and gentamicin;

  Experts suggest that you follow the "60~60~60" principle when using electronic devices to listen to music, that is, the volume when listening to music with built-in headphones does not exceed 60% of the maximum sound, and the continuous listening time does not exceed 60 minutes, and the external sound is the best No more than 60 decibels.

Heart-warming story丨Sign language coffee shop creates new dreams

  Hearing and language are important means for humans to communicate with each other and understand the world. Due to congenital and acquired reasons, the hearing impaired people cannot hear the sound, and it is difficult to communicate with people in language.

There is a "quietest" coffee shop in Hangzhou. It is run by a hearing-impaired couple. They give people sincerity and warmth in silent communication.

  This is a small shop of only 15 square meters. The operators Lu Jun and Yang Di are a pair of hearing impaired people. In half a month, their coffee shop will be two years old.

The two re-decorated the bar and painted the sign of sign language coffee.

Customers: They

can’t communicate in words, but they can still feel their enthusiasm. They have their own biscuits and they will give us a taste.

  Lu Jun and Yang Di, who were deaf since childhood, were once engaged in graphic design and pottery production.

By chance, they participated in a coffee making training class organized by Hangzhou Comprehensive Service Center for the Disabled.

After three months of study, the couple opened this coffee shop together.

By seeing and smelling, they gradually figured out coffee making techniques.

Yang Di: The

first time I drank coffee made by myself, it was made with milk. I found it too difficult to make milk froth.

Lu Jun:

Sometimes I played too thick, sometimes I played too thin, but after repeated practice, I gradually improved.

  The careful production and operation of the coffee shop has made the coffee shop famous, and the volume of take-out orders has also increased. Sometimes customers come to know that this is a "silent coffee shop".

Customer:

It's amazing. It's the first time I met a deaf person to open a coffee shop.

What he doesn't write here is to tell you how to order, which is very convenient.

Lu Jun:

Give it to him, watch us sign and say thank you.

I feel very warm, they will hit me with sign language and feel very happy.

  Due to the growing popularity of coffee shops, Lu Jun’s lover Yang Di also took time to study in other coffee shops to improve the quality of their coffee shops.

Lu Jun's dream is to make more money to expand the store, and then open coffee classes to help more disabled people find jobs.
