BFMTV's local little sister will soon be arriving in Hautes-Alpes and Alpes-de-Haute-Provence.

Next March 9 will mark the birth of the local non-stop news channel BFM Dici, the latest addition to the BFM Régions network.

Succeeding Dici TV, BFM Dici will address itself from 5 p.m. to the 300,000 inhabitants of these two departments.

The channel will also be available on TNT channel 31, operator boxes and on the Web.

Soon a branch in Marseille?

BFMTV has displayed its ambition in local news by launching BFM Paris in 2016, then BFM Lyon in 2019, followed by BFM Grand Lille and BFM Grand littoral in 2020. Between September and December, 2.7 million viewers per week and nearly 920,000 per day watched these four local TVs, according to data from Médiamétrie.

BFM's coverage in the South-East will be complete with the arrival of Azur TV, which includes three channels in Marseille, Toulon and Nice, and whose takeover, announced by Altice in February, remains subject to authorization from the Conseil Supérieur de audiovisual.
