Schleswig-Holstein's Prime Minister Daniel Günther has already spoken out in favor of clear opening steps with a state-wide incidence of less than 50.

The CDU politician in Kiel said that he refused to cancel the Easter holiday within Germany.

Travel abroad is also possible.

"However, I cannot imagine that we will allow accommodation in Schleswig-Holstein earlier than the end of March."

It is clear to Günther that the first easing in retail should take place.

Günther emphasized that after consultations with the expert committee of the state government, he did not believe in making opening steps dependent on an incidence of 35 cases per 100,000 inhabitants within seven days.

This would lead to loosening up for months.

"But we are in a situation in which an incidence of 50 does not lead to an overload of the hospitals."

Federal Finance Minister Olaf Scholz also calls for a clear opening perspective before the federal-state summit.

"Much of what can be read and heard at the moment is not enough in my opinion," he told the newspaper "Bild" according to a preliminary report.

"For me, the following applies: I want a clear opening strategy and a combination of opening and testing."
