Will "the Marseillais" soon set out to conquer Hogwarts?

MAZEN ABUSROUR / AGENCE HOP / M6

  • A witch who comes to destroy ties of friendship within a (more or less) united group, this is not the story of a Grimm's tale but the ordeal that

    Les Marseillais have

    been going

    through

    for a few days.

  • How did the turmoil interfere with the members of the cast, and more particularly between Carla Moreau and Maeva Ghennam?

  • 20 Minutes

tries to recap this story worthy of a science fiction.

Black magic, satanic rites, a witch with destructive powers… No, this is not the scenario of an episode of

Game of Thrones

but rather the real life of the

Marseillais

which unleashes passions.

While the new season of their adventures in Dubai launched on W9 last week, it's not the show itself that has been stirring social media for the past 48 hours.

A voodoo doll at the center of the drama

The drama of the year (we already dare say it) starts on Snapchat.

This weekend, Maeva Ghennam, candidate for the show since 2018, accuses one of her comrades, without naming her, of having called on a witch in order to harm her.

Marc Blata, another reality TV character, known in particular for having participated in

La Belle and her almost charming princes

on W9, continues a few hours later by explaining that, according to him, Carla Moreau regularly uses the services of a clairvoyant to harm to his entourage.

According to Marc Blata, the young woman would have joined the fortune teller several years ago by asking her to make her dearest wish come true: to become known.

After joining the cast of the

Marseillais

, Carla Moreau would have kept in touch with this clairvoyant.

"She was obsessed with all that, she really wanted to shine more than them, even if it means using very very dark methods," says Marc Blata in a story posted on Snapchat.

[…] She put herself in competition with the other reality TV chicks, so jealousy arrived.

She called on that same psychic who had worked with her formerly to start doing them dirty.

"

In videos shared by this same reality TV candidate, we discover the voice and the hand of two women, presented then as Carla Moreau and her “witch” in the process of indulging in a voodoo practice with a doll and nails.

“I sting Maeva so that Maeva leaves W9 for good and gets kicked out of

Moundir [and the apprentice adventurers]

, we hear in the excerpt shared on social networks.

I touch once again the W9 production.

They will have to separate from Maeva quickly and instantly and that Carla becomes forever the first of the candidates of TV

Les Marseillais

.

"

Carla Moreau, between public humiliation and popular support

Following these revelations, most of the show's participants sided with Maeva, the first apparent victim in this story.

“Maybe Carla is just sick and needs help.

Even though it is very serious what she did to me, a normal person cannot do such unhealthy things.

Even if I will not forgive her, she needs us to be helped and treated, ”she shared on Instagram.

In turn, many candidates spoke on social networks to defend Maeva Ghennam.

Manon Tanti for example said "shocked but not surprised" when Greg Yega, him, explained to be "stunned".

If we wanted to find personalities attached to supporting Carla Moreau, it is on the side of anonymous social networks that we had to turn.

On Twitter, this Monday, the hashtag #SoutienCarlaMoreau was among the most discussed topics of the day.

Internet users called in particular to be wary of Marc Blata, likely to have relayed all this information for the buzz.

Will we know the end of the story?

A new coin was put in the machine on Monday evening with a story published by Maeva Ghennam.

On Snapchat, the influencer "wishes to apologize to Carla" for the outpouring of hatred she suffered.

“I know the whole truth and I can't talk about it.

[…] I've been on the phone with her for an hour, I've just understood things.

And this whole story is false, ”she recounts between two sobs.

It was believed then that we would know the end of the story in the hours to come.

But it was without counting on yet another twist.

This Tuesday afternoon, Maeva turned the situation around by revealing that the facts were in fact, according to her, true.

"I can't imagine that Carla could have done this to me… Yes it's her voice and Carla confirmed it to me yesterday on the phone.

I reacted hot to seeing the despair of Kevin [his companion] because last night I was with him, ”she wrote on Instagram.

Words that contrast with his apology video posted the night before, and since deleted.

Touche not at my post

this Monday, the one who set fire to the whole story was not convincing.

According to the feelings of some Internet users, Marc Blata would have simply sought to make his self-promotion, taking advantage of the showcase that was offered to him live by the show.

At the end of the program, when Cyril Hanouna asked him if he had anything to add, he replied, for example, “Follow me on Snapchat”.

A few hours later, on Instagram this time, the former reality TV candidate launches an appeal: "if an Internet operator wants to advertise with me, it's 10,000 [euros]".

Real proposal or buzz machine?

This is the question that everyone must keep in mind in the face of this whole story.
