After a little more than 7 months of absence from the antenna of France 2, the star host Michel Drucker returns on March 28 on his red sofa, with a new number of the program "Vivement dimanche".
His absence followed a heavy heart operation at the end of September 2020. An ordeal he recounts in a book.
It's a comeback that many viewers have been waiting for.

France Télévisions even announces the date of this return: it will be March 28.
France 2 will broadcast today an unprecedented number of the show, the first for more than 7 months of absence of Michel Drucker following health problems and in particular a heavy heart operation at the end of September 2020.

A book and hopes for his return
This unpublished issue of
Vivement Dimanche
will be recorded without an audience, the Covid-19 pandemic requires.
Michel Drucker will be returning to bookstores at the same time, with the release at the end of April of a book called
Ça ira better tomorrow
.
The 78-year-old host will recount his difficult months at the end of 2020, including the pain and anxieties stemming from his recent health problems.
In January 2021, during the back-to-school press conference for France Televisions, Michel Drucker explained (from his home) that he hoped to return to the air "in the spring".
"I would have finished my rehabilitation, I hope to come back (let's dream a little) vaccinated, without a mask, relaxed and with theaters and cinemas open again", he explained then.
