The use of the AstraZeneca vaccine against Covid-19 will be extended to people aged 65 to 75 with co-morbidities, Minister of Health Olivier Véran said on Monday evening.

People aged 75 and over will continue to be vaccinated with Pfizer or Moderna in a vaccination center.

"I can note that now all people aged 50 and over and who have comorbidities, weaknesses, can be vaccinated with AstraZeneca, including 65-75 years," said Monday evening on France 2 the Minister of Health Olivier Véran.

And this "at their doctor's, in the hospital that follows them and soon in the pharmacy".

Those 75 and over will continue to be vaccinated with Pfizer or Moderna in a vaccination center, he added.
