For this reason, general practitioners and specialist practices that routinely offer vaccinations as part of standard care should be fully integrated into the vaccination campaign.
In Brandenburg, a model project with corona vaccinations in medical practices is to start on Wednesday.
The offer is to be expanded to 50 practices in March.
A similar pilot project is already running in Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania.
According to the Association of Statutory Health Insurance Physicians (KV) Berlin, around 3,000 medical practices in the capital alone are suitable for corona vaccinations.
Spahn was also convinced that the federal and state governments can offer all citizens a vaccination offer in the summer as promised.
