According to a survey, violations by politicians of corona rules damage the willingness of many citizens to adhere to the regulations themselves.
In a survey by the opinion research institute Civey, almost a third of those surveyed said that their motivation to behave in accordance with the rules "definitely" suffers when politicians publicly violate the Corona rules.
Almost 34 percent of those surveyed stated that politicians have no influence on their own behavior when it comes to corona regulations.
The "Augsburger Allgemeine" published the survey first.
The analysis of party preferences showed that AfD and FDP supporters are evidently demotivated particularly quickly in this regard by violating politicians - with the AfD it was three quarters, with the liberals two thirds of the respondents who said "in any case" or " rather yes ”replied.
Politicians who actually or supposedly do not adhere to Corona rules keep making headlines.
These included Federal Health Minister Jens Spahn (CDU) with a donation gala last autumn and recently the Bavarian Science Minister Bernd Sibler (CSU) at a birthday party.
