The centers of the Emirates Heritage Club continued to provide their heritage activities and activities, despite the changes imposed by the Corona pandemic on the pace of work, which necessitated reliance in the past period on new means to maintain the activities of the club centers, through distinguished activities, chiefly handicraft workshops. Such as Sadu, tailoring, tali, khous, recycling, traditional dishes, popular games, and preparing Arabic coffee.

The response of the Emirates Heritage Club to the variables accompanying the time of "Corona" was a quick response, which did not leave the club away from its role in society, so its activities were transformed from a distance, including the heritage workshops that have been presented since the start of the pandemic until today.

Fatima Al-Tamimi, director of women's centers at the Emirates Heritage Club, confirmed that despite the Corona pandemic, the club's centers continue to carry out their heritage activities daily from a distance.

She added, "The centers offer more than 10 workshops every week."

Al-Tamimi said that these workshops and events provided remotely are divided into handicrafts, popular foods and games, in addition to heritage publications, heritage questions and competitions, as well as the activity of the Noble Qur’an.

Regarding the desired goals of these activities, Al-Tamimi explained: “We are working in the Emirates Heritage Club to spread and preserve the national heritage, enhance national identity, spread intellectual and cultural awareness, deepen patriotism, and build students’ capabilities and experiences. ”
