The surprising press conference called yesterday by Pedro Sánchez did not seem to have more than a single real objective, of course of a partisan nature.

It is about

blaming the public opinion on the PP for the breakdown of the negotiations around the renewal of the General Council of the Judiciary, in order

to increase the pressure on Pablo Casado until he can no longer bear it and yields to the wishes of PSOE and Can.

Desires that include the naming of vowels as ideological meanings

Amen

you like José Ricardo de Prada or Victoria Rosell.

The first is the judge discredited by the Supreme Court for having slipped into a key sentence a personal position on a matter not tried to politically damage the PP;

In doing so, he provided Sánchez with the argumentative alibi to present the motion of censure that evicted Rajoy from La Moncloa.

It is understood that the insistence of Sánchez and Iglesias on including De Prada among their candidates for the CGPJ

It is an unacceptable provocation that only seeks to humiliate the PP,

that he would thus pay for his naivety in approaching this negotiation with someone like Sánchez in good faith.

Rosell, for her part, has not only been a deputy for Podemos but is currently a delegate of the Government of gender violence.

Surely there is no name closer to Galapagar in the entire judiciary.

Casado himself has been reiterating for many months the conditions for the agreement: that an anti-system party like Podemos does not place its followers in the governing body of the judges and that a depoliticizing commitment is signed in line with what is demanded by Europe.

But Sánchez does not conceive of the pact except as subjugation of the other, so that yesterday he did not hesitate to use all the Moncloa paraphernalia to erode Casado's resistance.

That you have the democratic and regenerative reason on your part to continue resisting

and in order not to tire of continuing to demand progress in the depoliticization of Justice, as this newspaper has been defending.

It is an embarrassment that Sánchez, the governor who fled the management of the pandemic to abandon all responsibility in the autonomies and who annulled the parliamentary and judicial control by virtue of an abusive state of alarm, now breaks his silence and admits questions from the press only to force the main opposition party to replicate in the CGPJ the same obscene militant cast design that it has already achieved for RTVE.

It does not look for Casado for State agreements on pensions, housing, European funds or reforms:

The PP is only interested in a vote in favor of the socialist colonization and power of the Judicial Power

.

It is bad that the regenerationism of not so long ago is buried and the bipartisan pastry is perpetuated;

but to pretend that those chosen for the replacement display their sectarianism card is an insult to half -at least- of the Spanish.
