An officer from the Spelle police in Emsland was attacked during a corona check.
A patrol crew had previously checked a group of several people in the Bürgerpark on Friday evening who apparently did not comply with the Corona Protection Ordinance, as the police announced on Saturday.
A 22-year-old man then tried to flee.
When one of the officers pursued him, the man hit his chest with his fist, the press release said.

The aggressive park visitor now has to answer for a physical attack on police officers, even if the police officer was not injured at all.
