On February 26th, to celebrate the Lantern Festival, Basma Ossama (Chinese name: Laughing), a foreign daughter-in-law from Ningxia from Egypt, got busy early in the morning.
She made the "Chocolate Crispy Lantern Festival", an internet celebrity she learned from short video software, and invited Chinese friends to make dumplings together. Through practice, Xiaoxiao learned how to roll dumpling wrappers from friends.
In addition to learning to cook Chinese food, Xiaoxiao often makes Egyptian food such as mallow soup and milk rice for her friends and family.
