One dozen and one smooth sailing, two beating and two dragons taking off, three beating and three sheep opening up in Thailand, four beating in four seasons...On the evening of February 25, in Wanxian Mountain, Kaifeng, Henan, four furnaces lined up in the center of the stage, and the pig iron was burned. Above 1600 degrees Celsius until it turns into molten iron.

The craftsman scooped up the molten iron and threw it into the air, and the flower-beater hit the molten iron hard, instantly the iron flowers were splashed, and the golden iron flowers more than ten meters high bloomed in the night sky like "metal meteors".

Iron flower is a large-scale folk traditional firework. It is a folk cultural performance technique discovered by ancient Chinese craftsmen in the process of casting utensils. It began in the Northern Song Dynasty and flourished in the Ming and Qing Dynasties. It has a history of more than a thousand years.

The iron flower is mostly spread in the middle and lower reaches of the Yellow River, with the Yujin area being the most prosperous. Among them, the iron flower of Kaifeng is known as the top ten folk art in the Yellow River basin.

Nowadays, while inheriting the ancient skills, Kaifeng Iron Flower has incorporated folk customs elements such as the fire dragon dance, and has innovated the "Iron Flower Fire Dragon" performance program.
