The prefect of police of Paris, Didier Lallement, announced this Friday that he would seize the IGPN, the police force, after “homophobic remarks” made by a police officer during a control, Thursday evening in Paris.

“A video was posted on social networks showing the control of an individual in Paris 18th district.

The prefect of police will seize the IGPN following the homophobic remarks made by one of the intervening police officers ”, wrote the prefecture of police of Paris in a tweet.

This scene took place last night in the La Chapelle district in Paris during a police check.

The video shows two police officers arresting a man.

One of them repeats homophobic remarks on several occasions: "Shut up, fuck you, you're not a man, you're a little queer."

The man arrested protested several times.

We do not know precisely the date and the context of this arrest.

In a tweet published Thursday evening, Johan Cavirot, president of Flag, an association of LGBT police officers, announced that he had made a report on the IGPN platform.
